Amazon Advertising Certification: Printava used their keyword report and found that most of their keywords were performing well. However, they noticed several keywords with very high ACoS. What can they do to reduce the amount of clicks they are paying for?

1. Increase the bids on those keywords





2. Let the campaign continue to run the way it is





3. Remove ASINs from their campaign





4. Add those keywords as negative keywords





5. Add more ASINs to their campaign




Option 1 – Increasing the bids on those keywords means that you are bidding more aggressively. Hence your ACOS will further increase.


Option 3 – Removing the ASINs will effect the campaign in more negative way, as the issue is not because of the ASIN, but, because of some keywords.





Option 4 – Adding those keywords with high ACOS as negative keywords will lead to reducing the ACOS. Amazon advertising algorithm restricts your ad from showing on the keywords which are added as negative keywords in your campaign.


Option 5 – Adding more ASINs may or may not reduce the ACOS.





Hence, Add those keywords as negative keywords.
